Who We Are

The Mine Land Rehabilitation Authority (MLRA) are an independent authority working with community, industry and government. The MLRA facilitate the rehabilitation of declared mine sites to work collaboratively towards safe, stable and sustainable land-forms for the beneficial use of future generations.

What We Do

The MLRA facilitate positive mine rehabilitation outcomes for all.

The MLRA check that declared mines have effective plans in place for rehabilitation and communicate what is happening to the community.

The MLRA also provide rehabilitation advice to government and industry and are an educational resource for schools, TAFEs and universities.

How We Do What We Do

The MLRA has a dynamic knowledge base. The MLRA has a business management system which ensures policies and guidelines are in place that can manage the organisation and work.
